Since you have neither identified any hollowness or inconsistancy your post is simply "noise".
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

I can't really understand how you people can miss the blatant bias and propaganda issued forth from FOX "News".

So far as I can tell, most Conservatives think that not implicitly endorsing their pre-existing views equals Liberal bias.

Study after study has shown that even your much hated CNN tilts Conservative and yet you have the audacity to whine about Liberal bias.

Surely no one thinks ANY news source is totally unbiased?

Everyone of them will report some news items "straight" and will "slant" other news. Of course, the choices they make in doing so differ between the various sources according to what they intend to influence.

That's why you need to watch several and you should pick some that you know are going to be in opposition on a particular issue.

There's no big deal in Fox being available in Canada. It's just another choice and every TV has a channel selector that's user operated. Some folks will watch it, some won't.

Tempest in a teapot.

Actually I took it as it was intended, sarcasm. You might try looking at it that way.

The thing about FOX is that it was built - from the ground up and through every staffing and programming decision - as a mouthpiece for the Republican party. It's agenda driven from the word go. They just call it news and it resembles news and for a hell of a lot of people that seems good enough for them.

No thanks.

If FOX was just a mouthpiece for the Republican party, I doubt it would be as popular as it is. It basically now has twice the viewership as CNN now.

All news has some bias I think, but I like FOX news. I watch mostly news or the history channel when I watch TV and FOX is not bad at all.

Is this just your opinion or can you substantiate it as fact?

Having watched CNN more than a little I will have to read those "studies" myself before believing what you said. Of course I will consider the background of the studier or any possible hidden agenda. Can you point me to one of these studies?

Anything media outlet owned by rupert murdoch is a mouthpiece for the republican party, he makes no bones about that.

Most of you are missing my original point....Canada intentionally kept Fox News off the air, yet allowed Al Jazeera and US network news along with CNN and MSNBC.

It's like Toad said...it's all about a balanced diet.

I personally watch 80% of left leaning news and 20% of Fox News...with the exception of Hannity and Combs....they are the Ocra on my plate.

Canadians commenting on a network news channel not allowed or seen in Canada is perfect.
