As for the E-types, the one shown is I believe the namby-pamby V12 version for the gin sipping dandies. It had a top speed of 140mph. The real McCoy was the 1961 3.8 whose top speed was 150mph, thanks to the absence of all that American mandated anti-pollution crap. A later concession to the American market was the removal of the perspex headlight covers, which made the car more streamlined.
