Nash, you must have had this epiphany just in the last three days, or I guess you wouldn’t have started this thread.

You started off with a polarizin' US partizan thread then you step away and said this.

"rpm that's the whole thing.

Making up their mind doesn't matter.

Thissa way, thatta way. Same diff.

They just wanna argue. To feel the outrage. To rail against... erhm... actors, or Europeans... anything really."

Now I took that as an inclusive "they".

Or do you believe that this is the exclusive perview of one US political party?  If so then I think you are wrong and will explain why if you verify that this is your belief.

If you don't, then I think you have known this for awhile.  I think this because you strike as a relitively well informed individual and it seems obvious to me that that both parties play this game.  If this is the case, than I have to wonder how you could have been ignorant of this up until a few days ago.

Yeah - I get what yer saying; makes sense and I pretty much understand where you're coming from.

But to look at the two sides. The posts here. The media there. You would have to resort to nit picking, or explorations of...

No - I aint falling for it. Yeah Thrawn it sounds lovely. But it's bullchit.

God, abortion, Sean Penn, guns, intrusion, Baldwin, the French, immigrants.

When you give me the Dem flipside of that, we'll talk.

Screw it... It's not about playing fair like you seem to want to do now. It's just about not playing at all.

It's psycho junky addict garbage.

You know what, that is pretty much the attitude I decided to ascribe to on Nov 3.  Dem/Rep, don't really care anymore.  I've actually become more involved in municple politics, better way to spend my energies.

I have never heard anyone from the Dem side of the spectrum speak of the christian right, right to choose, Jerry Falwell, Charlton Heston and the NRA, Rush, Rednecks, or "undocumented immigrants".

Okay bud, punt those threads. The pissed off democrats posting about about, whatever - all those things.

Like when rpm went nuts and freaked out on Heston. Or when Gscholz famously declared "Abortion rocks!"

k?

Punt them up.

(pretend like you don't know)

See ya in a coupla years.

Now you're changing the rules... You said, "But to look at the two sides. The posts here. The media there."

I thought we were speaking of generalities, not specific quotes of specific people.  If I were to quote GSholtz does this mean that your "media there" part does not count?

Generally, the dems have been just as bad as the reps.  Anger and resorting to personal insult seem to be just as prevalent on both sides.  For instance in the abortion question, I have seen those who seem to group together anyone who is "pro-life" with clinic bombers.  I have seen those posts who proclaim that the born again are somewhat mentally challenged.

As an agnostic who does not favor the abolishment of Roe v Wade, I can see the discriminatory bent of some posters and some media for those who are conservatives.  I can also see the other side, and I see that there is room for rhetorical improvement on both ends.

Like I said, we hit back.... but, we don't seem to start it.

Why is that?

Why is it that y'all constantly do?
