Permanent Furball Islands?

Only 9 months into the game, so I dont know if this one's been tried (or discussed) before. On the other hand, in those few months I've seen perk the Lala about a dozen times, so here goes----


Would it be a problem to have the central bases, usually already in a balanced triangle, become uncapturable and untrooped? That way the furballers and tank furballers could always have a place to do their thing without significantly impacting the rset of the map. The lack of troops would keep the strat guys from sneaking in to the base and using it to take captured field from behind...

I'm sure its possible, I would think its just a matter of getting a map maker to do it, and set  it up right.

With the soon to be released TE & OE we should shortly have a WHOLE lot more activity on this level.

For awhile we had fuball island on Ozkansas restricted to early war planes only. Now that was great !
 
The fighters were the Spit I, Hurr I, Spit V, Hurri II, 109 E and F, F4F, P-40B, Me 110C, Zero, C-202, and probably a couple of others that I can't think of.

The bombers were the Ju-87, Ju-88, SBD, Val, B5N, Boston III.

Meanwhile all the GVs were enabled and were fighting like crazy without having to worry about 1000 ft agl Lancs killing them by the handfull.

It was a blast!
