You sure do.  You get 2 weeks to play the game online for free.

I suggest you download and practice up offline first until you feel comfortable, and then go online for your 2 week trial.  If you want help with the learning curve, drop a post in this forum and a trainer will arrange to help you out.   :)

<sigh> Yeah I'm with ya there Seeker. AH has an adequate planeset to run a Nieman-like scenario tho. That was a blast. Think the new Baltic terrain would work for it too. Where's Tilt when ya need him?

Its on ea.com if you simply must try it. I wouldn't go back there now if they paid me to. I'm pretty sure you can only download it thru their updater too and the file size is fairly huge. The basic file was 50 or so megs and that was without all the cockpit art or 3D shapes. Whole build is way over 100megs.

Hehe  You guessed right. Gotta subscribe first.

If you were gonna try AW for one of the scenarios last word I heard is that the next one has been put off for a while(months?) until they get folks used to a new <cough> "ultra realism" flight model. Could be a while. Gotta tell ya tho. I flew AW for a long while and the scenarios were among my best memories of playing. Best part of that game without question. Good luck.

<Snork!>  Hey Drano... dare I say "2 weeks"??

Rav... I would wait around here before taking a step BACKWARDS to AW.  Sooner or later we should hear something about a good scenario in AH.

I totally agree with what Drano said in that the best memories I have of AW are Scenarios and Squad Nights.  The rest of the "Main Arena" stuff is just practice for the other two!

Hmmmm, a nice "Longbow" type scenario looks feasible with the current plane set!  :D

yeah i agree, im use to the control surface of AH now, and i think AH has nicer plane agrphics than AW, but its just so bloody expensive.

unless HTC comes up with pearl harbor scenario with p-40 oranother multiframe scenario(during the holidays:-), i think ill stick with h2h. i only get to play during the holidays anyway.

and my ADSL has a 3 gig limit, i think AH uses up like 300mb for 5 hrs of play time online, and thats only just in the h2h arena.

If you have a traffic limit, make sure you are not the one hosting.  Just being an online client is pretty efficient for an online game in my experience, more efficient than any of the shooters that's for sure.

The "Dora" is the Allied nickname for the FW-190-D9.

It's a very fast BnZ plane... can catch Ponies in the right situation.  :)
