Interesting stats GD, but they may not tell the whole story.  Some of us have quit registering for events because we can count on there always being empty slots to fill as walk-ons.

I’ll admit it isn’t as much fun as being in a well run group, but measured against some of the last events, it’s worth the trade off.
Easy in-game again.

Very interesting stats

My thinking about loosing numbers in the
scenario

1. We need the correct planes flown there
2. We need the correct skins from the
squads flown there and everybody try to
use the correct skins.

I know that is hard work, i am impressed
of the skinners do their excellent job.

But finally that gives the scenario a more
historic  touch and that can be a point to
notice to advertising.

How about that ?

Easycor those numbers are not registration numbers. Those numbers are from the logs that actually record start flights, deaths, objectes destroyed, landings, etc.

So they are the hard core numbers of people who actually flew in the SEA for that event. I have them for each frame .. most events were 4 frames. Although we had 1 with just 3 frames.

Ah, very good then.  Niemen shows there is interest in the Eastern front after all.

But check out Kurland... one of the lowest numbers to start with and the worst retention of any scenario.

I'm not sure an Eastern Front scenario would garner enough participation in the future.

Niemen was my favorite but there were many many issues against the Kurland setup that went ignored.

Kurland had some issues beyond the location.

Without going into any possible design problems, the fact that the total outcome was determined by the end of Frame 3 (And the writting was on the wall at the end of frame 2), combined with Frame 4 falling Memorial Day conspired to kill numbers towards the end.

if there are Sturmi's in it, I will be there ... ;-)

or anything else that flies low & slow.
my SA sucks and my ACM are non-existent , so in scenarios (only flew then in AirWarrior, after signing up for my 1st AH event my connection went south and i quit ) i almost always flew bombers ... most memorable are the Sturmibubbas (Kursk) and the Kates o'Doom (something Pacific).

That "Eagle Squadron" title looks pretty cool DoK.  They all do, but that one sticks out.

Flossy my first event was AW BoB. The next was flying under culero in his spec ops group in a26s in Longbow. I was hooked.

Id love a Pac CV scenario, but it being a carrier war, the advantage of searching for and locating the enemy first would have to come into play.

Imagine a map with CV fleets, no islands. Just open water. The search planes launch first and when they locate the enemy the strikes are launched. Also something to do with arming time would have to be included so you could catch them with spotted decks.

All those things or something similar are needed for a good cv battle...getting people to stay interested while it unfolded would be another matter.

Longbow was definitely one of my favourites.  I hadn't been playing long and didn't feel confident enough to fly, but had a blast as Spiff's gunner!  I know many referred to it as TooLongBow, but I loved it and was sad when it finally ended.  :)
