68DevilM Be careful if this is your first , that when you apply the water to the tissue on the Horizontal Stab and Virticle Stab that it doesnt warp too bad , and if it does get an Iron with water and steam it from a distance  of a few inches for a few seconds and try to slightly bend it back into place.

Ive done the Dumas F4U , Typh , Hurri , 190

I also recommend plastic model kits, no sticks and tissue to fiddle with.  Take a look at some of them here:

i got it from a hobbie shop, they also had a p40, and a 109 and 190 there too.

also there was a catalog that came with the kit with all kinds of ww2 aircraft in it, i think there was web site for it.

ill check it out when i get home and post the web site if im right

Yeah you can put a small engine in it and fly by wire I think, round and round in circles till you puke lolh.

Plastic, now what it the fun in that?:D

yeah im just probably either gonna mount it to a stand or just hang it when complete

Nope, rubber band powered, free flight.  But they are making
R/C gear small enough now to fit in that model.

The small .10 engine is for control line flight only. I have seen one very cool electric conversion. I will put pics up of the mustang.

Electric would be very good for this model.  Li-Po batteries
are much lighter than the nicad and the electric motors are
making a lot more power than they were 10 years ago.

I fly Glow and Electric... here is a pic of my unfinished glow spitfire. When it gets up there it looks incredibly scale. Also a picture of my electric Bf-109. I fly it with a 1900 MAH 7.4 Volt Li-Po. I also build and fly my own foamys made of house insulation.
