I was watching this on Ch 10 news.

I watched many a band there in the 80's.It's on Sinclair Ave if I remember right.

A girl I know's brother was there-he called her to tell her what was going on immediately after.He said everyone was being detained there while the police were sorting things out.

If I see her in the next day or two,I'll bump this back up and let you know what details her brother has.

Axl Rose predicted this. Remember that incedent when he had to take matters into his own hands because security sucked so bad at the show.

"Take that away from him.. take that away from him.. security.. **** it, I'll do it myself" And he lept into the crowd and proceded to do just that.

He should've started an entertainment security firm.

Reports indicate the shooter had reloaded or was in the process of reloading when he was killed by police. Thank God.

I haven't been to the Alrosa in about 5 years. Very scary.

a guy in the band that opened up for Damage Plan last night was on Dallas radio this morning, and said he was standing on the side of the stage when it happened, and said the guy was screaming something about Pantera before he started shooting.... so yeah, I think this nutcase thought it was Vinny and Dime's fault that they broke up....... squealing idiot.
This is a sad sad day for the Dallas music scene. My thoughts go out to his brother and bandmate, Vinny.

yeah, i am hearing conflicting stories about all of this, but the common demoniator is the "breaking up of pantera" thing, which is truly sad someone would be that disturbed about a band.

side question, i heard vinny was shot, then heard he wasn't anyone know the deal?
