Norwegian researchers are least quoted in international journals, Norway has the lowest state and industrial research effort, the fewest number of people working in the field, the fewest doctorates and the fewest patents.

Anyone else find this interesting? Oil is their main income and after the oil is gone in about 20 years, they may have to learn to work to support their welfare state. It may take time, but I am sure they will be okay.
