Ryurik, Truvor and Sineus were three Varyag princes whe were invited to rule Kiev in IX century. Ryurikovich dinasty ruled Russia until the end of XVI century.

Spelling may be different, like Rjurik and Varjag. But they were Normanns, Vikings or whatever you call them, and their dinasty ruled Russia until Boris Godunov and Polish invasion. So you can blame Tatars or Poles :D
