Thats what I thought about MetaTron, saying he owned a mansion and was building a airstrip for teaching purposes. Got everyone he knew going about it. Maybe he wasnt lieing...probally was. Point is you cant trust anyone until you meet them in person and find out their real qualities, not some beefed up version to try to impress others.

I got a kick out of the 17 year old kid here in California who scammed a million or so out of people using a Yahoo account and posing as a financial advisor.

Anyway, unless you contributed money to this guy's memorial fund, what does it really matter anyway? Should be an interesting story, death doesn't leave a lot of room to flip-flop.

I'm not against any of the mustangs here, as I know them and they are good guys, but this is one of the only communities I've seen that mourns over the passing of one of its players. I guess what I'm saying is, he doesn't HAVE to give us an excuse if he doesn't want to, but the fact that he came back under the same name after presumeably knowing that the community thought he was deceased would warrant an explanation, to the very least the people who posted close to 150 times expressing their regret on his "passing".

In the end, its up to him, but considering the company he resides in, I'm sure there is a good expanation abound.

i dont know him, nor of his death, so my opinion does not count for much.

but.

the fact that he returned under the same name would suggest to me he didnt intend to mislead or confuse. had he come back under a different name then it could be assumed he was hiding from the past.

i say, welcome back 7sins, glad to see you're not really dead.

(PS: if i died, would anyone send money to my family?

Ok, now I'm confused... the last time I flew with him was a week before he was 'killed' in the car accident (we were with the 13th TAS then). I tried calling him (had his phone number), left a voice mail asking if it was true, for him to call me back. Got no call.

If he's alive, then it's stunning and wonderful.

But if he's dead, and someone is faking his return, I will not be happy with this. I lost a good friend.

Cough up the details Midnight. I'm curious.

You guys make me laugh. What makes any of you think that I am going to give any details to anyone? I was asked not to, and I have no intention of going against 7Sins wishes. The details are his to give if he so desires.

What I will say is that the story provided to the community stating that 7Sins was killed in an auto accident was not of his making and he was unaware of it being told.

I don't know when 7Sins found out about the story, but I do know that I had not heard from him until he left a message on the 412th BBS at http://www.brauncomustangs.com a few weeks ago.

Anyway, he's back now and isn't asking anyone for anything, so why some of you feel the need to make comparisons to other players and scams and lies is just beyond me.

I guess it's too bad Westy has died though. I never got to call him an stunninghunk to his face, even though he lives in the next town over from me.

If you can show a lack of class on a video game BBS ( and I am not sure you can), then to just pop back in two years later with no explanation after knowing full well that a good many people assumed you were dead would certainly do it.

It's hard to believe so many people here would act like they are in regards to this subject. I never knew 7Sins when he was said to have been killed. One thing I do know just from what he has said on vox and on our boards is that he's embarrassed of what happenend. He in no way had anything to do with what was said nor did he even know it was said to start off with. I don't know when he found out about what had been said about him.

If anyone has any real issues with the situation then ask him directly. The people that have no class are the ones who are making this subject a total community soap opera. If you guys consider yourselves to be that close to 7Sins then I'm sure he'd be willing to let you know privately. To bring this to the boards is not only childish but rude. The only thing you are accomplishing is pissing people off and probably making 7Sins even less willing to tell anyone about what transpired, even those he may have felt he was close to.

It's as Mechanic said earlier it's obvious he wasn't trying to hide anything knowing full well what had been said about him after the fact. If he wanted to hide anything he would have just changed his name and only notified those he wanted to. Some of you are trying to make this thing into a story line you'd find off the movies or in a book (Person fakes death, takes advantage of mourners, lives high life for years, and poof back to life). Maybe some of you should get out some and stop watching so many movies. We've also got the typical AH hecklers joining into the subject that have absolutely nothing to add other than showing they really wish they had friends and wanna stand out in the crowd. Guess these guys would fit into Furiouss' little class act comment. So tell me again who's the class act here?
