Houston we have ignition (of my CPU that is:( )
« on: December 14, 2004, 11:03:07 AM »
Sigh....

My snazzy cooling fan elected to fail and initiate a "catostrophic event"...at least for my CPU:)....I couldnt find a barton core chip locally so went ahead and grabbed an Athlon 64 3200+/DFI lanparty combo. I already had a gig of PC3200 in my other MB so its fine. I'm using the Ti4200 for now and really dont need to upgrade but curious what makes the most sense. Guessing I'll look to keep this setup for 2 years or so if I upgrade video card. Suggestions appreciated....

As a side note my 19 in monitor (llayma 450 pro) went south but video card is fine? I'm guessing there's a fuze in the monitor that went when voltage/amps spiked?
