Was wondering about the possibilty of "marking" planes for say, the the top 20-50 pilots plane in a fashion similar to the way the squad art is done. So it would overlay any skin that was applied to the plane.

So, if you're ranked is 50 or below - every plane that you would fly would have a larger red fuselage band and maybe red wing bands.  That way it's not something noticable in the icon, but you'd only really see it once you're involved in a tangle. about 1/2 the size of invasion stripes. (about 4 feet?)

Could possibly do something like that for kill streaks..if you get 5 kills you get a greenband, yellow for 10, white for 15 blue for 20..ect....

bring back the alt-tab ability to run ahfilm.exe!!!!!

i mean, sheesh, the reason "why" it was disabled is still easily done by gv weenies who are getting spawn camped anyway, since they're dying repeatedly and have time to simply exit game and review film... how far will an unaware spawn camper move in the 2 mins it takes to do this?

and why are spawn campers being given a break like this? (as are the track stars in the skies.)

How about adding a star "*" mark to the icons, like they do in Fighter Ace? Just one star mark for anyone ranked inside 20th place for that category.

 Like, if you see an enemy icon, that goes "Bish P51*", you won't know who exactly this pilot is or how high he is ranked, but you'd know that he is one of the guys within 20th place in fighter rank operating in the sector.

 Or, if you see a bomber formation icon that goes "Knight B24*", you'd know this guy is a highly experienced bomber pilot.

I'd rather not see the icons - thats like having "perk bird" in your icon...

I was thinking wing or fuse markings would be good - that way you dont notice it from a distance - only when you get in and mix it up.

I like it.  It's not as though the MA isn't infested with score-whoring, ack-hiding, FH-porking, divebombing B24, cowardly pansies anyway.  The people in there who play to have fun do so anyway.
