Canada and our success are the bane of nut jobs like Coultier. I would be more supprised if she liked us.

While we exist very much in the shadow of the US politically, economically and militarily, equating us to Honduras really shows how little these people understand Canada, Honduras or the world at all.  

What would we be like without the US? Alot different thats for sure. Right now we can have a huge and healthy export trade without having a huge shipping capability to support it. Obviosly if the US ceased to exist or had never existed we would have to become a maritime nation.  That simple change would be huge. We would either be a much greater nation then we are..or be much less. We could not be as we are without the US..thats for sure.

I like Canada and I like most Canadians.  We are essentially extremely lucky to have them as our northern neighbor.

I think we(USA) and Canada are mutually fortunate to have each other as neighbors. Sure I wish Canada was more on board with the war on terror, and I wish they had tighter borders.  Overall though, I think Canada is a great neighbor.

I even studied French (to my shame and future horror) so I can quasi-understand the morons from Quebec....

Canadian came easily to me.  I was born and raised in the US, so American is my native tongue.  Fortunately, my particular dialect makes learning Canadian easy.
