Well from about 1521 until 1810 it was under the rule of Spain, in 1810 the fought for and won thier independence from Spain. Of course at that time it was known as "La Nueva España" (New Spain).

Prior to the Spanish Conquest the area was ruled by Aztecs ...

In 1848 they lost Texas and portions of California

But I guess to answer your question I would say Yes...

I like em fine but they shouldn't be allowed to come here except to buy gas and ciggs and shop for real food...

They are worthless to us... they can't do landscaping or pick fruit in the sun.

They can stay home in the cold and put together various auto parts for us.
