Trinity Map - Painful Boredom
« on: December 22, 2004, 08:37:59 AM »
Last two nights I have logged into the Trinity Map.. what a bore!

Looks like Knights / Bish might have good fights happening on their fronts... but Rooks just dead

Rook/Bish front in the north... HUGE horde of rooks attacking at least 2 or 3 feilds at a time and looks like Bish barely trying to defend.

Rook/Knight front in the south... some action between 2 fields... mostly Rooks attacking / vultching. Most knight defenders in the furball at the field, some flying in from an inland field.

It was so boring in the air (trying to get kills in a furball over-populated with Rooks) I reverted to PT boat instead. Managed a few kills, but that PT boat just dies too easy.

We on the same map? Last nite was a bit boring. The nite before that we were pushed back deep into our territory and there were fights everywhere. Well there were huge Bish Hoards everywhere anyway. The nite before that we had Knits pushed deep into there territory and were many fights available that nite. Just the way the game is, some nites things are great, other nites there a bit boring.

To me what would make the Map 100% better is to add a field like A1 on the other 2 mountain ranges making it more evenly distributed.

At work now, can't promise much but it should be done today (think map resets every Wednesday).

HT told me the new object editor should be ready right after Christmas. As soon as it is, I am going to start work on rebuilding tanktown.

I agree Hondo. A1 acts as a bottle neck for fighters and bombers alike in that area. It always was the place to find a decent fight at the start of trinity's rotation. Adding two more, one "passage way for each side of the map would be a great way to encourage fighting. And land grabbing.
