I saw this thing on the history channel on Mail Call. I think it would be awesome if someone could skin it.

It was on Mail Call's christmas edition. A bunch of school children made toys out of wood and the such. Afterwards, they put them on the Liberty Express B24 and flew them to orphans in France.

After that they took it and used it to fly missions.

It had on it the signatures of every british school boy who made toys.

I too can't find any extra info about it. =( .

There's an image out there of that bird. I've seen it and I'm sure it's in one of the books on my shelves but I can't find it for the life of me!

Gonna keep hunting.

I also remember seeing that film on an old "World at War" episode.

There was a variant of the Liberator called the C87 Liberator Express. Maybe that was the type of plane that was used for this toy mission. Or, maybe, the mission was named Liberty Express, and it wasn't the name of a specific Liberator.
