Having just put a chunk of change into my wife’s van, I told the family that our money could be put to better use than gifts for me.

Unable to resist, they replaced the Dremel tool that I had recently burned up. They also gave me 4 packs of peppered beef sticks, and some cold beer.

…My girls love me.
My password at work had to contain exactly 8 characters… I chose Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Our Christmas money went away with my Mothers funeral expenses. Well that and a $780.00 bill for the kids dentist. Seems his mom wouldn't take him to the dentist because it cost her money. I provide the insurance but she doesn't want to pay the co pay. Now he has 11 cavities, yikes. I found out about it when I went in for a cleaning. I also needed a cap, there went $485.00.

All in all it's still good. I have my health, a wonderful wife (#2) who is still in remission, a great kid and we're going to spend a month in Mexico starting Monday.

Have a happy new year all.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Some shirts, Half Life 2, a new wedding ring (to replace my old crappy one), a set of 14 books (Early Church Fathers: Nicene & Post-Nicene Fathers Series 2), an encyclopedia of myths and legends, 3 coffee mugs (1 with AKs all over it, one with Corsairs, and one with US WW2 troops).

Tomorrow we head over to the inlaws so I am not quite done yet.

Got to spend another Christmas with my mother, who's battling breast cancer. Don't think I could ask for much more.
