Also got some clothes, an R/C Air Hog (from my dad who tells me I take my R/C planes too seriously, heh), a Rolling Stones laptop bag from my sister who worked on their last tour, a 400 watt inverter, calender, some books (including 'Stick and Rudder'), and other stuff.  A great christmas, the first one where my son (now 2.5 years old) could understand the idea of Santa and opening presents.

Chairboy, ya better not try to fly or drive while wearin that gizmo. you could crash just tryin to fiddle with one o' them there dial thingies. Good haul, otherwise.:aok

All in all it's still good. I have my health, a wonderful wife (#2) who is still in remission, a great kid and we're going to spend a month in Mexico starting Monday.

Have a happy new year all.

If she refuses to go to the dentist.. Isn't there some sort of law that requires she picks either a new dentist and pays it with her own money or goes to the one you have insurance on and she pays co-pay?

Could call her on neglect...

Hawklore,

The kid is 19 now. Court order has expired, thankfully. He still lives with her and I am providing insurance coverage, not because I have to but because he's my kid and I know the ex can't / won't provide squat. I'm alos traveling full time now and not in the same state except for a brief time.

BTW Jackel has it pretty well nailed. Getting action from the court regarding custody practically requires an attempted murder of the kid by the mother. (slight exageration there, just slight)
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."
