My point is such that STAN THE MAN (colonel Stanislav Petrov) r e a l l y  deserves all the peace prizes of the world together with the highest military awards of every country on this planet.

And BTW I was talking about this man, and not somebody else  :p  
I can agree though that the Nobel Peace Prize winners are the people of different calibre. But this can't be the reason for denying Col. Petrov's ultimate achievement.

LOL I doubt you were even alive when Carter was president.
Jimmy Carter was a great statesman and an honest man.
Just because he is from the south and has an accent dont let that fool ya if I remember right he went to the Naval academy.

Oh and I doubt he whined  when he had his tonsils removed.

W can easily bore his calibre to a bigger diameter by recommending commendation with the Congressional Medal of Honor for Col. Petrov.

Carter has done many good things since he's left office so great statesman maybe, but great president no.
