AH2 already has a bit of head movement during wild maneuvering. However, I'm not sure how it'd be with that much visual vibration working as a factor. For one thing it certainly would make wild scissoring much harder than it is

However, I've always agreed to this general premise. IIRC, the AH "gun shakes" are a more or less simple "cosmetic" level of fix which shakes the "camera" around to simulate vibrations.
There's no reason this same thing cannot be used in other fields, which would greatly engance immersion and feel.
For instance, imagine that you're in the tower when enemy bombers are dropping bombs. The closer the bomb drops to your position, the bigger the "camera shake"! Just think about the chaos of being on the ground when multiple 1000lbs bombs blow up around you.
This same thing can be used in GVs. Bombs land nearby the GV.. the ground tremors and shakes..
Also, it could be used when 88mm flak bursts near your plane. One shell bursts really nearby(maybe just outside damage perimeter?) and boom! the plane shakes.. it'd certainly make the 88mms in the game feel more 'alive'.
And ofcourse, on the hand-held buff defensive guns, too.
