I've seen there is a FFA field in the TA.

Now, Why don't we take this a bit further?

Have certain fields assigned to certain tasks.

Say, we could have ACM fields like A1 and any other high-alt fields so people can practice their ACM..

Have a Ground Attack field, preferably those who have cities or factories nearby so players can practice their Jabo/Buff skills

Have a Panzer only field so players can practice their buggy-driving and shooting skills, preferably those Vehicle fields that are closest to each other.

I was thinking more of a true training arena that has multiple targets to practice on. A onesdied arena where everyone can practice or enter into some formal training.

An interesting idea.

Certainly, once we get the terrain editor that is in Beta now, we can use some of these suggestions and possibly create a customized training arena.

Please post any suggestions for how we could improve the TA with a special map.

Hey Leph, how bout a "Barnstorming" course?

Create a "maze" that includes a series of bridges, hangars, tunnels, ridges, and cliffs which force you to make a series of hard turns, dives, and hard climbs in order to get thru the maze?
 
Sure would help teach basic aircraft handling skills.  

Include destoyable "targets" that earn extra points as you go thru, and have the course timed. Fastest time with most targets destroyed earns highest points.
Maybe the targets even shoot at ya if u don't shoot them first.  

Sure would help sharpen gunnery skills if you HAD to kill that deadly AAA emplacement at the end of the obstacale course in order to complete the maze.  
 
Hehe imagine the fun when you try to "run the gauntlet" with a G10 loaded with 100% fuel and full ord, and going thru previous sections of the maze has forced you to fly at 125 IAS, and there is a 180 degree flat turn comin up ahead.

Personally I would love a collection of tanks out on the TA where I can practice my Rocket and bombing skills in fighters. Their nice tiny targets and my rocketry TOTALLY sucks.

I'd like to see a 30k wall that encircles a field, oh... 10 miles in diameter. Throw in a bunch of aligators on the floor, get 30 fighters in there, and have us a no-holds-barred-to-the-death cage match
