It claims it could be kids with lasers but they said it came from a suburb 15 miles away. I never seen a kids laser go that far.

You dont mean those silly laser pointers, do you?

Drive cats nuts, sure.  But remain focused, and that precisely aimed to shine in a cockpit?  Eeeesh, that's a reach

at first I thaught "without remorse" because it was clark that was involved

Now I'm thinking it was "debt of honor" I think that one was about the secret war against japan.

Uh-oh

Time for a new terror color code...What color is "blind?"

Seems to me some kiddos got into the military surplus and walked off with some MIB bling bling...

Does anyone really believe this is a terrorist activity? Felony, yes, but Al-Qaeda? Get real.

:lol

Soviets shot down at least two U.S. C-54s with spotlights as they were landing.

Debt of Honor sounds right.  At any rate it's the same book that has the suicide airline pilot that takes out the capitol.

Please.  They have been selling plans for industrial lasers in the back of Popular Science for 20+ years.  High powered lasers figured prominently in the design for the "Star Wars" missile defense system.  That was in the 80's!  Dont tell me they are just now figuring out a laser could be dangerous to commercial airliners??

A common construction laser has the range, and costs a grand or 2.
