For me, its because I can NEVER get close to even thinking about a pure kill against him. that, and because he seems to be everywhere I go in the AM's.

Did get him once, dropping in during a furball. Actually was embarassed, and I pm'd that he still owned me...:lol

I've been buffing a lot lately and ghi seems to find me a lot. I don't think I've ever run into him while flying a fig, but maybe. He'll get right behind my buffs, usually at less than 400, and just waste me.
ghi, you using extra armour on your rides? Can't seem to bring you down.

Heh, found this thread searching for my own name. It's only a month out of date so I figure posting here won't look too bad.

My list:
Murdr -- He's in my squad so I don't find myself opposing him too often, but he can take advantage of mistakes like nobody's business.

AKAK -- Same deal as Murdr, but I know how to fight him.

ManeTMP -- All that *****ing he does on ch200 makes him a target. His reversals are very good if you get caught off guard, and his tell isn't as obvious in AH2 as it was in AH1.

XJ -- This guy is a good pilot. I had a fight with him maybe 6 months ago that stuck in my mind. He was in a spitV and me in a 38. I pulled off some stalls that lead me to discover an entierly new way to fly the 38, but couldn't get the reverse due to his having less then a 1/16th tank of gas.

Fester -- He doesn't really fly anymore, and hasn't killed me in a long time. But when I was learning to fly he was the man to beat, and I never really got to scratch that itch.

Some side business here, SEgunner: I live in Seattle. I grew up in Ohio, though. Where about in NE Ohio do you live?

Ha!  I hear y'all loud n' clear..  Am LOL, now after reading these threads,,  so true. AND FUN!

After playing AH for beaucoup years, you look for something "new" to try.  IE; An entire campaign w/o getting shot down (never happend!), etc..

So, one day, (bored with the same old furball, shoot down, fly back into fray, cycle), I got the bright idea to dedicate some time to "AH Stalking"!  LMOA, now, thinking about it..

You don't get much action, but, the payoff is PRICELESS!

Here's how it works..

Pick an AH pilot that really, REALLY gauls you.. Especially the "Loud Mouth" types..  (from opposing country of course!).

Then, hunt him relentlessly until you get his kill!

Here's what I did.. (kinda' boring, but what da' heck, ha!)

Logon to MA..  Check Roster, Ah-HA!  He's ONLINE!

Wait in tower of nearest base to his country.. It won't be long before you'll see his/her blah-blah insults, threats, taunts, etc in the text buffer.

And from this data, extrapolate WHERE he/she is.  If he's verbally jousting with a countryman?  PM your countryman,,  "Yo! Where is So&So?"..

Add this to the "So&So has landed 4 Kills in a (Plane type?)"  message that will eventually appear.

The KILLS LANDED message is invaluable! Now, you've GOTM!   Where he is, and what he's flying!

Go getm!

You must choose an "Assassins" mission aircraft.  Something FAST, is a must.  You've gotta' blow past or through, any of your targets' support aircraft.  (and you may find that most BIG-MOUTHS, fly near or with large ensembles for backup)

I found the La7 to be a Stiletto of choice.  Loading 50% fuel, don't plan for a return voyage on this run..  You're a one-way suicide hunter. HA!

You'll fly over some of the easiest pickn's you've ever seen while on deep excursion hunts.. C47's, Parked Bombers, etc.

But, tempt thee NOT!  (LOL)

Sooner or later,, you'll see your quarry.  Down low, in a cloud of Red NME icons, there'll be that one odd-ball craft that sticks out from the rest.

GO FOR IT!  Go for it with EXTREME PREJUIDICE. (turn camera on for the record).  After days and hours of hunting, you may find this engagement to be one of the more heart-pounding experiences you'll ever have in AH.  Get the A-hole, before his buddies get you!  Don't be shy about HO shooting in this case.  There is no chivalry on this run.  But don't actually crash into the target,, this is extremely "Bad Form", and negates all your hard earned work.

If/when you succeed, expect a torrent of insults, old diatribe, such as; "YOU HO Skill-Less DWEEB!".  With any REAL luck?  He/she may send you a PM with vulgarity or physical threat, that you may instantly send to HTC and have the SOB booted for a while.. (so leave them cameras' runnin' kids! even in the tower after you die)  ;-)

And remember..  Flying like driving,, is a privelege!

LMOA~

The runner.

The guy who is about to die, but wastes your time doing a crappy invert barrel that slows him down even more. 5sec later he's in the tower.

That stupid LVT that simply won't obey the laws of physics, i.e. 40mm's in the pilot's compartment.

The gee-wiz pileit who interrupts a good 5min dogfight.

and
The superhuman paratroopers, 2klbs of explosive or full rocket salvoes or a wingtip in the face or not, they're still on their feet.
