Pellik,

I live in Saybrook Township Ohio which is in Ashtabula county.   I'm roughly 55miles NE of Cleveland.      I'm right on Lake Erie.

I can make the Pennsylvania border in 30 minutes.

BTW, nice seeing you on the Bish side this tour.   Now I don't have to worry when I see a P38 with a red icon.

There are a few people I die to alot, I do tend to see the same names over and over. But there are just a few who I consider "adversaries". In my book an "Adversary" or "sworn enemy" in a game is a person who I really like.

I enjoy fighting nice people much more then a-holes. I can devote alot of energy and comitment to fight people who I really like because its always fun. Fighting a-holes isnt and gaming is about fun so I just ignore them.

In Jumpgate I had my blood sworn enemy in a guy called Russian (not the same guy as Russian here). We constantly tried to outsmart each other and beat each other. At one time our two squads where flying together because we where good friends but the we realized we missed fighting each other so we delcared war on each others squads. ;)

So far the closes to an adversary Ive got in AH2 is Redd.

I really enjoy fighting him I tend to run into him everywhere and die to him. Redd has helped me alot in DA and over mail and is a top notch great guy.

I actually do recognize him in the skies just through his fight style and each time I see him its like... "butter its Redd... stay smart stay smart... CRAP NOT AGAIN!!!!!"....

For me its much more important to have guys like that on the enemy side then have all the nice people on one side... because if all the nice people where flying on the same side and all the a-holes on the other then I would not be playing the game... there wouldnt be any laugh, joy and no fun in the fights....

Great people on Knight and Bish side of the fence...

Tex

there used to be pretty good rivarly between Jg27 and 13tas in the old days..

jg27 = Hristo  Zazen myself weasel and many others.... etc..

13th TAS = Rude and his gang and that jackal torque in his super crusher Chog. (cant remember if Torque was 13th tas but he was always in their company it seemed..)

I remember one time it was like 12-15 190a8's (was the only 190) vs a bunch of mustangs and a lone Chog (guess who)

Really good fights back then... then again you had to fight as there was no base capture feature on the Ogre map and the other map with the 10k A1 airfield (forget the name...) that everybody fought for when base capture first got introduced..

So in my opinion anyone 13th TAS is sworn enemy..... both in game and for sledgehammer sessions in the O club...

:lol

ghi, you using extra armour on your rides? Can't seem to bring you down.

Sorry man, but this is the best fun i have since AH2 and the sexy B24s came out:  shooting bombers in 109G10,

no extra armour, i don't  attack bombers from  6 o'cloock, but if sometimes  i'm 400 behind your bombers, i'm running 400mp

For me its not the pilot I pick to go after its the plane. La7's no talent pilots go first, then spit dweebs, then whatever else you can find cause there isnt usually a lot else out there. lol no offense to you lala pilots and spits but you must all die for failure to carry bombs and help your side achieve victory.

I just want to kill all the good sticks, for obvious reasons. You want to be the best you got to beat the best. Ummm, having said that, I'm not the best yet...

(yet)

And of course the obligatory ManeTMP (Tiny Malformed noodle) because he's SUCH a poor loser:lol

Ha!  I hear y'all loud n' clear..  Am LOL, now after reading these threads,,  so true. AND FUN!

After playing AH for beaucoup years, you look for something "new" to try.  IE; An entire campaign w/o getting shot down (never happend!), etc..

So, one day, (bored with the same old furball, shoot down, fly back into fray, cycle), I got the bright idea to dedicate some time to "AH Stalking"!  LMOA, now, thinking about it..

You don't get much action, but, the payoff is PRICELESS!

Here's how it works..

Pick an AH pilot that really, REALLY gauls you.. Especially the "Loud Mouth" types..  (from opposing country of course!).

Then, hunt him relentlessly until you get his kill!

Here's what I did.. (kinda' boring, but what da' heck, ha!)

Logon to MA..  Check Roster, Ah-HA!  He's ONLINE!

Wait in tower of nearest base to his country.. It won't be long before you'll see his/her blah-blah insults, threats, taunts, etc in the text buffer.

And from this data, extrapolate WHERE he/she is.  If he's verbally jousting with a countryman?  PM your countryman,,  "Yo! Where is So&So?"..

Add this to the "So&So has landed 4 Kills in a (Plane type?)"  message that will eventually appear.

The KILLS LANDED message is invaluable! Now, you've GOTM!   Where he is, and what he's flying!

Go getm!

You must choose an "Assassins" mission aircraft.  Something FAST, is a must.  You've gotta' blow past or through, any of your targets' support aircraft.  (and you may find that most BIG-MOUTHS, fly near or with large ensembles for backup)

I found the La7 to be a Stiletto of choice.  Loading 50% fuel, don't plan for a return voyage on this run..  You're a one-way suicide hunter. HA!

You'll fly over some of the easiest pickn's you've ever seen while on deep excursion hunts.. C47's, Parked Bombers, etc.

But, tempt thee NOT!  (LOL)

Sooner or later,, you'll see your quarry.  Down low, in a cloud of Red NME icons, there'll be that one odd-ball craft that sticks out from the rest.

GO FOR IT!  Go for it with EXTREME PREJUIDICE. (turn camera on for the record).  After days and hours of hunting, you may find this engagement to be one of the more heart-pounding experiences you'll ever have in AH.  Get the A-hole, before his buddies get you!  Don't be shy about HO shooting in this case.  There is no chivalry on this run.  But don't actually crash into the target,, this is extremely "Bad Form", and negates all your hard earned work.

If/when you succeed, expect a torrent of insults, old diatribe, such as; "YOU HO Skill-Less DWEEB!".  With any REAL luck?  He/she may send you a PM with vulgarity or physical threat, that you may instantly send to HTC and have the SOB booted for a while.. (so leave them cameras' runnin' kids! even in the tower after you die)  ;-)

And remember..  Flying like driving,, is a privelege!

LMOA~

RV6

RV, that sounds oddly similar to an incident that happened to me a little over a year ago.  I was in a P-51b, and there was this La-7 who just had blinders on for me.  I didn't know what his problem was or what I'd done, until he got me.  Twas you.

See you at ACUSA.

(though I didn't send long strings of unimaginative vulgarity, I kept it short and creative.)

I used to hunt for KBman and his crew alot.  He flew real smart, always trying to keep an advantage, and I was always reckless, diving into the hottest furball I could find. It always seemed he would pick me off. So I would then hunt the highest fastest Lala-7 in my D-11.  It wasnt any fun to kill him in a super uber AC, it only was good for me to catch him in my P-47. Also liked sparring with torque, if you got him he would always be sure to salute you with ..LOL.  The guy was a blast.  Another good group that I had alot of fun fighting was Wotan and his luftwaffe squad, JG something or another.  They were ALL pretty good and they strove to land all there kills.  I loved catching them in a vulch kn owing they were all carrying around 5-10 kills each:):)
