***Typhoon**** it has changed???? WHY?
« on: December 30, 2004, 01:27:44 AM »
So what is happening with the Typhoon?

Is it just me or has it changed..... seems like this is not the first time.

I donno maybe im loosing it or ,, some one keeps tweaking the Tyffy.... it's performance and I am just Curious why?

If this is the case and  Is it just the tyffy or other planes too?
it would also be nice to know what has changed and why..

Has anyone else noticed this or am I going crazy?!!!!

You're crazy.

 ..

At least until you come up with something  more solid and objective for us to consider. Just what exactly is the problem you see with the Typhoids?

You missed spelled typhoons.

:D

They did change from AH1 to AH2, but then again, so did everyother plane.  Maybe because the flight model was improved?

Then again, if you are using other planes as a reference, maybe it was just the other planes that improved or changed and the typhoon didn't.
Time's fun when you're having flies.

It`s the tinfoil doing it. Just make a new hat.

It seems to me they are more manuevarable.  At least the ones that shoot me down.  One out looped my zero the other night.  Couldnt figure that out.  Wished I had filmed it.

I don't think I've flown a Tampoon in the past 6 months.

I would be curious to know what you think keeps changing though.

Haven't noticed anything with the Typhoon but I did put the 110 G-2 into an inverted flat spin twice the other night... have never done that before so I'd say something has changed with it since the last patch or two.

Hey as response to all the handsomehunkes,  it is spelled "TYPHOON"!
If you think otherwise.... refrain from responding till you have finished grade 6!!!! :aok

The Changes I have noticed is that the typhoon has become less manuverable,,(wich is saying alot for how unmanuverable it already was) in the last few months...  It much more easily stalls and rolls over in a turn at 250mph.  Also looks like some of its power has been choped it can no longer out run a pony on the deck.... it seems. Its acceleration has been reduced  wich was its main atribute (nose down and your out of there). Its overall performance has been effected.

Nah, I've been doing it for the past 6 months.  Low speed and flaps is what is doing it.  Only way out of it, turn off your engines.

Dont know about Typhoon (note spelling!), but ive ended in a flat spin (mostly unrecoverable) a few times since two patches ago - flying SpitV and Hurricanes. Never happened before. Someone in TA said that flight model has changed. Dont know, but maybe its the answer youve been looking for.

The Typhoon seems fine to me. I had my best month ever in December with it.
