Having grown up on a cattle ranch I can tell you that the modern rodeo cowboy has very little in common with the real working cowboy.

If you get bored find the acreage of all the cattle ranches in Texas Colorado Wyoming New Mexico And Montana.

I think you will find that there is a reason why America is the largest supplier of beef products to the world.
And ranches take cowboys REAL cowboys.

The help that we recieved from ontario as well as from the other states was greatly appreciated.......however I have to point out that each truck from those areas were costing the U.S. and Florida tax payers over $2,000 per day. This was not persona non grata. But not to take away from the fact that the power was restored quickly, I'll give you that.

But since they're all out of sight, out there somewhere on ranches, nobody seems to care. Thank god we grow our own cattle here. Who knows where the meat you eat has been. Maine utility helps to restore power after blizzard swats Atlantic Canada
December 28, 2004

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia -- Maine utility crews pitched in to help restore power to thousands of Atlantic Canadians on Tuesday, a day after a blizzard dumped nearly two feet of snow on some parts of the region.

 
The ocean storm grazed most of Maine, leaving only a couple of inches in most areas but more than a foot in parts of Washington County.

But it escalated to a blizzard as it headed to the Maritime Provinces. Blizzard warnings remained in effect for western Cape Breton and the western coast of Newfoundland on Tuesday, as high winds and whiteout conditions were reported in those areas
