another thing ya have to look at is alt. 6000 ft is 2000 yds.
they might think they are out of range at 10-12k alt right over cv, but they are not.
I get plenty of kills in cv 5" when my FE says range is 5k from target and they right over cv diving in. that said, my 5000 yds is 15000 ft.
so generally if you are under 15000 ft alt. say ummm 8.5k away from cv, you are in range of CV 5".
just to give a general idea of how 5" kills at what seems to be impossible ranges.
I have couple films(can't find those particular ones, have too many) that says I got a kill, and whoever it was I killed wasn't even on the range, speed list,in the viewer. have no Idea, where they were, what they were in. < just pointing out CV 5" range is farther out than you can possibly range, to intentionally shoot someone.
