Step right up folks...and cast yer vote fer the annual Thread of the Year award!

The author of the winning thread will win a tub full of iced watermelons, a 1968 Chevy pickup, complete with gun rack and Bluetick hound, a year's supply of Red Man chewing tobaccy, and all the Main Arena ho's a man could ever want.

Void where prohibited by law.

This could be an interesting thread.

Personally, nothing comes to mind. Threads are like little haikus to me. I eke out whatever nuggets of wisdom, insight, and/or humor I can, then discard them like so many bits of shredded paper in a hamster cage. Hell... I probably can't even remember most of the threads that happened yesterday.

But a trip down BBS memory lane is a good idea... Unless it becomes embarrasing, and if so - I go back to hating you, Shuckins.

(you know I could never really hate you. I love you, man.)

thread of the year?

http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=123551

kind of unfair this year though... this overshadowed many other threads, and possibly should be dis-qualified as being the all time best thread evar
I don't know what to put here yet.

JB 73 casts his vote for the Voss Conspiracy.  What are it's qualifications?

I just thought of one!

The thread where Eagler bets on the outcome of the election.

Qualifications:

While not neccessarily a great read or anything, it had the result of knocking Sandman, MT and SaburoS off the bulletin board for a few months (they can come back tomorrow - hooray!!).

Again... not a great read, but it touched people's actual LIVES!

2000+ posts in a short time, biggest flame of a single person, HiTech himself came in and flamed the target also, it brought back many "old hands" loke DokGonzo and stuff that wouldn't be here otherwise, people got banned... it had it all.
I don't know what to put here yet.

Toss up between the "JOC King of Sheep" thread

and "Voss Conspiracy" thread...

With honorable mentions going to the "Nilsen PhotoCrop" thread.

was the stripper thread this year or last?
though it went from one board to another, was so funny watching  the girls bash on miniD. (IMO the girls win)(I have nothing against miniD, not meant as personal attack)
if this year then it has my vote.

if it was last year(or any other year, hmm what year is it right now anyway? guess I'm going senile in my old age, either that or too many brain cells dying on me :p ), then Voss bash thread has my vote.

I've probably got a lot to regret (thank god for the short attention span)... But missing the whole Mr. Black episode still has to be my biggest BBS regret of 2004 ever.

The original "I'm gonna kick yer *** at the con after I shove my DD-214 in yer face because I'm a PADI certified diving sniper" was awesome.
