With all the newbies, there's a lot of traffic on channel 1 asking very basic questions, and a lot of people helping them out. This is a good thing, EXCEPT it can really clog the radio buffer, making it hard to see the "popeye 666" message in there with the "how do I start the engine" messages.

One possible solution would be to create a "help" channel. Anyone tuned to "help" would see, and could respond to, those newbie questions. Radio 1 could default to "help" the first time a new player starts the game. I'm sure there'd be lots of vets who would tune to "help" while they are not involved in a fight, and who would be glad to answer questions. I know I would. But, we would also be able to tune off of "help" when the action heats up, and we need a clear radio buffer.
