You know which ones... you also know that it is a continuous flame fest where people insult each other and claim they are right about engine 'A' and aircraft 'B' with fuel 'C'.

Gentlemen, back in the real world, where people have lives, it doesn't matter and NOBODY F*CKING CARES.

As much that I love this game and WWII aviation myself, and as much as I am prepared to listen to people having a decent discussion about the matters at hand, reading those topics makes me sick to my stomach. Comparing and gathering the info at hand should be a nice detective story, not a war by people who are prepared to die to 'prove' that aircraft 'A' is better than aircraft 'B'.

If I met some of you guys at a con, in the bar or something, I would smile for a second and then punch you until you bleed and the nice men in the white coats take me away.

Sorry if I have insulted guys who genuinely do research and are not blinded by their prejudice or complete lack of social skills, can indeed enjoy an open discussion and admit that they are wrong...

Obviously you cared enough to post...

So do the folks who post on those topics. If you don't care to read them you can avoid them easily enough, or you can put some of those folks on your ignore list or you could just ignore the A & V forum all together and spare the rest of us your feigned 'righteous indignation'.

You weren't kidnapped at gun point and forced to read any these threads.

Sorry Wotan, I see your point but my ranting wasn't feigned... and probably not righteous either.

And I really don't care which plane was better and who is right, but I do get worked up too much about people who think it is necessary to insult other people over a 60 year old airplane.

But you are right, I wasn't forced. But I still like to learn stuff about WWII aviation... without getting into a flamefest.

I'll just up plane 'A' tonight and go kill someone, that always works

Well said, hogenbor, especially the last sentence or your 1st post...Anyway, the pilot makes the most difference, plane A vs. plane B is only relevant if pilots are evenly matched...plane Z wins most every time regardless

I havent seen anyone else threatening others with physical attacks on the board, THAT is really a reason to ban someone.
Why would anyone want to read threats?

I have been beaten up in real live, as some of my friends have, for no real reason by some drunk teenagers.

Really no fun.
