Slayer Reign in Blood and Megadeth Rust in Piece are great choices for speed metal or thrash metal.

I'd also include Pantera's CFH and VDOP.

Bolt Thrower's "No guts , No Glory" now that is a jackhammer riff.

@ the majority of you.. Satch as speed metal !! too funny.

and Iron Maiden as speed metal.

I think it a legitimate question being that all kinds of bands are being represented here.

Yes It would seem self evident that "speed rock" would mean just that.
But perhaps I am misunderstanding it and that is why I asked.
