After telling people around me that I had more guns than I could use and wasn't gonna buy more (especialy handguns)...

Could not resist a deal on the sweetest '46 vintage K22 masterpiece Smith and Wesson 5 screw.   Fire sale price and very good condition.

I had one years ago but gave it away to a relative.  

These are 6 shot 22 revolvers and the best ever made...  Heavy K frame just like a 38/357 but in 22.

early Smith target sights and 6" barrel.   I justify it in that this is probly the very best handgun a man could own to teach youngsters and our less fortunate euro visiters the art of handgun shooting.   No recoil or blast to speak of and very safe to shoot with nail driving accuracy.  

Oh well... I will put twice the cost of it into my grand daughter bank account to sooth my concience.

You did the right thing. If you see another, buy it for me and I'll come get it.

I have a Colt .22 built on the .38 Police Positive frame, very eary in the run. As new. Very nice, rarely shoot it. The Smith would be a worthy companion to it.

I'm weaker.  I just dropped $910 on my latest computer upgrade.  It's gonna be FAST, but I'm gonna be mad at myself when I have to pay the CC bill.
