Battlestar Galactica series has been fantastic!  I watched Episode 10 on Monday and it was one of the best ones yet!  :)  This is one series that should never finish!!! :)  http://www.skyone.co.uk/programme/pgeProgramme.aspx?pid=3

The new Battlestar Galactica is GREAT!  I was watching the new episodes, and....  if they represent the continuing quality, it's gonna be a good one.  Feels like a big story, not just little episodes like in most Trek where, at the end, everyone would dust off their little Starfleet uniforms and hit the 'Reset' button.

I'd say, it feels like Babylon 5 SHOULD have been.

Don't get me wrong, I loved B5, but some of the dialogue and sub stories were pretty dumb.  Can anyone say 'Grey 17 is missing'?

BSG, on the other hand, is fracking great!

I agree with ya Chairboy!  BSG is slowly building the plot, exploring things carefully and it's addictive as hell!  :)

I love B5 and the Shadow war has to be one of the best plots ever.  Thing I liked about B5 was that it had a proper story arc from the very beginning.  Sometimes a little tiny comment in the first few series would suddenly reappear in the latter series - obviously you'd only notice after rewatching from the beginning!

Did I see correctly?

The BSG movie airs on regular (not cable, not SciFi channel) television this saturday at 8 pm PST????
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

Yes, but it's heavilly edited.  The original 4 hour movie is being fit into a 2 hour timeslot, if I recall correctly.  Dunno, they might do some judicious editing, or it might be a chop job.

I think it's actually 185 minutes - I'm actually watching it again right now on SKY Movies! :)  Haven't seen it in quite awhile.

Im not sure I saw this right...after Law & Order last night, there was a brief ad for Battlestar Galactica: The Movie on, i think, Sunday?  On NBC?  Wow!  Must be the one SciFi aired last winter?

Be cool if a major network picked it up.  Anything besides Scifi and their ads every 3 minutes

Hmmm.... no need to wait for NBC. You can own the mini-series DVD.

Ah... the way you wrote it, I thought CAUGH was some sort of acronym.

Did you mean "caught"?
