How many guys in here enjoy bombing? I dont mean base grabbing type, we all do that, but I mean planning a run on radar or something?  Missions that include escorts and trying to make it to target and back?

     Anytime someone wants to do this please give a shout, most times Im up for it, unless the fishin is good.

LOL, you know me, FiLtH.... used to love your Rolling Thunder events in AW, and I'm now back into enjoying bombing again here since the latest change to the bombsight calibration method.  :)

Not something I do in the MA often but I enjoy the challenge of the bombing missions in the FSOs. Its a nice change of pace.

Escorted 8th airforce style play is fun in either fighter or bomber role - for both offense or defense.  The fun is in the trip more than the destination.  You have to be in the mood for it though (and you have to be the sort that plays well with others).

I love high alt bombing 18k-30k. Aint worth taking one up unless you get that high in my opinion. Thing is alot of folks dont have that much time. I just clean house and stuff and check back until I find myself in an area I want to bomb.

love bombing and love escorting..as well as attacking buff groups with escorts...nothing gets my blood up more in AH2 cept good one on one for 10 minutes.

Hi Filth
I love bomber missions. I fly with the Flying Tigers when I am on just check for DHawk, I like high altitude mission above 20k . If you setup a mission and I am on  I will try to make it unless I am on a bomb run myself. Perfer stat targets over bases but will hit either. Normal on after 9PM est.
Hi Flo was =DRK= in AW flew for the HG;s  in FR and the Iron Eagles in RR.  Most of the old Hg squad from AW are now flying in Fighter Aces.

We do it once a week at least.  Mostly about 10-20 bombers with 3-4 fighter escorts.  Sometimes we get another entire squad to escort us.
