Appearently it's supposed to shoot miniature lightning bolts into your face.

Sounds good to me, so I'm thinking about taking the plunge and picking one up. As it's a sizeable investment, I thought I'd enquire as to anyone here's experience with this piece of equipment.

I got the Mach3 Power, but the battery was dead when I bought it. Used it for a week before replacing the battery. Replaced the battery since, and overall it's a great razor. It gives a good clean shave, but I didn't notice any difference in the shave with it powered up. Also, the blades themselves don't seem to last very long before needing replacement, and if you don't replace the blade frequently, it feels like it's tearing the hair out of your face as opposed to actually cutting it.

The Mach3 Power vibrates like crazy to "gently lift up facial hair for a cleaner cut". I haven't noticed any difference though.

I use the Mach3 Turbo.  I refuse to buy into the "battery" gimmick.

I tried one of those.  Weird feeling when you switch it on, I always worry that it will start to dig into my juglar and can't get it to stop.

Seems like it slides over the skin better.

I have used the mach3 turbo since it came out. I didn't know how good it was until I tried to use those disposable ones when I was out of blades. Holy crapola! Those disposables feel like they are ripping the hair out.

I have used it for several months gives me the best shave of all i have tried (I used the gillette sensor previously). Haven't had to change the battery yet. Each blade lasts about 2 shaves, same as my old sensor.

I think there's one out from Schick now with four blades.  But I won't be satisfied until we get one that has at least 25 blades.

:rofl ... isn't it amazing how many times the razor can be re-invented.

I am more amazed at how gullible the people are you buy into the crap that they espouse. Now they got you buying a straight-edge razor with a battery that causes vibrations that "raise" the hairs up ... I swear that PT Barum is still alive and well living in Hoboken and he has mucho stock in the razor and battery industry.

I use a Wet/Dry razor in the shower and then use the cheap-*** bics razor for the fine clean up.

Look at the Schick Quatro lazs. It's got twice the blades you currently have. :)
