Brand new 2004 American LaFrance
« on: January 07, 2005, 11:30:43 AM »
Finally got here 1/5/05 (over 2 months late). Should have more pictures soon. Have to say the clearance between the top of the lightbar and the bottom of the overhead door was about 4 inches! Talk about close call

Specs are the truck rides 9ft. 9 inches off the ground, has a 1000 gal tank and a 1250/min pump. Engine is a Cat diesel engine (NICE!) Just need to put equipment and mount the "Q" siren on it and it'll be ready to go out next call.

Took me less than 1 min  to have the answer to this question.

But it's not what you really were searching

nope we Americans never pass up an oppertunity to make fun of france.  I think that's a new constitutional amendement but I'll have to look into that.  ;)

That's not quite true, it's just the right-wing nutjobs (along w/ the anti-gay marriage constitutional ammendment).

I've noticed LaFrance quit manufacturing their own trucks and just upgrades stock fleet trucks now. They have turned into Monster Garage.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

It's not that it's not pleasurable, the post was more of an observation than anything else.

AND I'M NOT A LIBERAL!
