I've deleted my account.

For all those that I've had the pleasure of flying against for the last 5 years I would like to say a big thank you and good bye!

I have only flown a couple of times since my last full tour back in July and since moving to a new country my priorities have changed. I had only intended to take a break but in all honesty I haven't missed the game and so I'm going to try and enjoy RL for a change!

Thanks to HTC and good luck for the future!

Many thanks especially to the Hornets, Firebirds and 13th TAS, it was a pleasure flying with each and everyone of you! Everyone else I know, well, you know who you are, thank you!

I'll still be lurking on the boards so hope to remain in touch with the many friends I've made, and met, from here!

Shame I can't pass my 25,000 perkies onto someone!!

what he fails to mention is that "so long and thanks for all the fish" is a reference to the title of fourth book in douglas adam's hitchhikers guide trilogy. there is also a fifth entitled "mostly harmless."

thus, it is fair to say that he will return, abiet slightly less dangerous.

"so long and thanks for all the fish" is what the dolphins say to man when they are done experiementing with him by guaging his reaction when they jump through hoops or do summersaults. they, being the more intelligent of the two creatures, leave before the vogons destroy the earth to create a new hyperspace bypass.

for those of you who havent read the series, i highly recommend it.

a movie version is in the works for march 2005.
