Microsoft Sidewinder 3D throttle Help!!!!
« on: January 27, 2000, 03:36:00 PM »
I can't get the throttle to work on my MS3D.  I go through the calibration and nothing seems to make it work.  Also I am a little confused as to how to set up the hat views looking up and down.  Any suggestions?  Could someone please describe how to program the hat?  All attempts that I have made have failed.

Thanks,

Greetings,

Some suggestions:

1) Install any software and drivers that came with your joystick.

2) You may need to calibrate the joystick in Win95/98.  Do this by clicking on

START/Settings/Control Panel/Game Controller

and selecting the correct MS3D setup.

The 3D Pro will have a Calibrate Button.
The 3D Precision Pro does not if memory serves me right.

Having done this and only after having done the MS3D set up in Game Controller, start AH and then go through the AH calibration setup.

Hope this helps.

If not, look up my e-mail in my profile and e-mail me.  I have a 3D Precision Pro and did have minor problems with it.

Good Luck
