What is really fun is waching the CUBs play for 4 hours with a score of 0 - 0. Now thats fun and exciting. For reall extreme fun times, you can always watch the BEARS throw 3 yard passes on 3rd and 20 (and drop them). However the score is not borring like a soccer 3 to 2. The score is 14 to 3 baby.
And don't get me started on the Bulls
Well, a TD in American Footie is worth seven points (if is is converted). Right? So a 14-3 score would equate to something like 2 goals and a missed penalty or something like that in soccer
Be honest, American Football is a ***** sport compared to soccer. They carry more items of 'protection' than a Dutch hooker on a working night.
There is certainly oodles more skill involved in playing football. It is much easier to direct the ball with the hands (American football). In 'soccer' only 1 player can use his hands, the goalkeeper, except at throw-ins of course. Try throwing a ball in to the air and bouncing it on your fist. Now try it using your feet...
Also, we get to play against more people and teams from hundreds of countries. We have tons of tournaments, both at club and internation level. Oh that's another thing you cant have with American soccer - internationals
Unless of course you make a USA 'A' team and USA 'B' team and you can play for something like the US Cup
