Dear cod. How many LCD threads is there going to be?

All of the monitors I have are LCD now.

I have 3 computers in the house, one of which is used for gaming.

It is a Viewsonic VE550. Response time is 16ms. 17 inch flat screen.

My work computer has a Dell something something model. 20 inch flat screen.

It however has a slower response time of 18 ms.

I haven't ever tried gaming with the 18ms response time one. But, with the 16 I use for gaming, I don't see any ghosting or anything.

And that's every game I play, not just AH.

-edit- just looked at the one you listed. It has a faster response time than mine does. So, there's your answer. -edit-

2 things - make sure it has 8 bits per pixel for color (true 16 million colors) and a DVI input.

My NEC LCD has neither and although it's nice, it's not quite as good as the aging 19" CRT it replaced.  I can see color banding in games, movies, and pictures due to the 6 bits per pixel color, and that sorta sucks.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

I'm using Sony SDM-HS94P/B x-black. The best LCD so far I've ever seen. (and I've seen quite many)

Using the same Sony for my main display and a Misubishi Diamond Plus 91 for secondary. Haven't seen any problems at all with the Sony so far.

Just an update, I got the acer 19" and am quite pleased. Except for 1 dead pixel this LCD far surpasses the old 19" CRT it replaced.
