Nvidia drivers

anyone know where to get an older nvidia driver than the 66.93 version? I looked at the nvidia website, but I suck at navigating websites. I have the 66.93 version installed now but Rome:Total War doesnt run properly with them installed. It ran fine with the last driver installed, it was dated July of 2004. I found an older driver at the PNY website for my FX 5700 card but neither Rome: Total War nor Pirates! will start with those drivers.

Speaking of Pirates!.....anyone else have it and it constantly crashes on them? Game rocks, it just wont stay running for me :(

I have it, but it is runs rock solid, have maybe about 20 hours of game time without even a slight lock up or pause.

I've found several message boards with people saying Pirates! is bug infested including game crashes. Very few people on those forums say it runs rock solid for them. Spoke with tech support and they said a patch is in the works but no idea when it will be released. I cant play for more than 10 minutes at a time without a game crash. Wierdness....

I have it, and have way too many hours in it and have experienced a few CTD's, but for the most part it runs really rock solid for me on my machine.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

Bodhi, I even tryed uninstalling the game and removing the game folder that the uninstall doesnt remove and then reinstalling it, no help at all.  Worst part is that I lost my 2 ships, a Royal Sloop and a Flag Galleon. Only saw 2 Royal Sloops the whole time I was playing and only one Flag Galleon. Both of my ships had all 8 upgrades. Twas really cool to hit a War Galleon (or similar ship) with 2 broadsides of grapeshot and see the enemy surrender as soon as I pulled alongside ;)

*edit* saw at least one post where someone showed a line of code in Pirates! and pointed out the bug (memory addressing error) and told how to fix it
