schiz, the idea of using attrition as a factor has been around the boards for several years, but never implemented.
I would vote for an attrition system that can actually be the primary factor for MA reset, but not a factor to dissable planes or fields.
For example, each country start with N fighting resources (representing bombers, fighters, vehicles and fleets). Every fighter or vehicle represent one resource point, every bomber two, every CV 20 and every other ship 8. When your country lose something to enemy action (not suicide or accident), the corresponding points are substracted from your country current points. If your country reaches 0 points, you lost. We can add some factories that, slowly, generate points to a maximum of N.
If the reset is reached this way, the country with more resource points wins.
This way, even outnumbered countries with few bases left will have a chance to win.
