I have a Saitek 36F Stick and Throttle with a CH Rudder on 3 GHZ AMD running Windows XP.
Here is the problem. I can use manual rudder and aileron trim but the manual elevator trim will not work at all.
I tried with combat trim off and other autopilots off. I can use the keyboard to adjust aileron and rudder trim with no problem but the ELEVATOR trim refuses to work at all.
I checked the keyboard map and saw it was the I and K key. If I press them on the keyboard the trim does NOT move. I mapped it to buttons on my stick and if I press them it does not move. If I do the same with rudder trim or aileron trim it does work.
After an hour of fighting the Stick forward to let my stick adjust for the lack of trim my wrist actually starts to hurt. What can I do to make manual elevator trim work?
Things I tried.
Checked keyboard map to be sure I used the correct keys.
Remapped keys to new keys to see if that would work and it did not.
Mapped manual trim to joystick and that did not work.
Quit game and restarted the game to try that.
After a week of working on this I am out of ideas.
