Just sat through a lengthy interview. Was already going well.....started at 4.30pm and around 6 the fella says "Another coffee or shall we go over the road to the bar?"

ok.

Got to the pub and I pulled out the cigarette pack......my zippo has a nice pic of a spitfire on it, matey boy who's interviewing me spots it and immediately gets all interested and ask's about it. When I get to the point of mentioning Aces High (off handedly so he doesnt notice and doesnt think I'm a dweeb gaming addict) his eyes light up even more and we spend the next 90 mins talking about ACM, flight ops and how he can't hit a thing in IL2.

And I'm back for a second interview with the MD later this week.

Good things happen because of Aces High...it's true.

I've met some lifelong friends...Swoop being one...and got the deal of the century on a house, all directly related to flying an internet flight sim.

That'd be funny to put AH on a job resume to see what came of it. Maybe something like:

2001-2005, pilot, Aces High.

Would be funny I think when the interviewer asks what Aces High pilot means.
