sorry to interupt your meanderings but WTF is deep impact? Is that the thing that's supposed to hit a commet or somthing?

Yeah Gun its the rocket thats going to ram the Comet so NASA can get a good look at the inside. For me the most amazing part is that no explosions are being used since the speed at which the rocket and comet are traveling at each other (about 23,000) Mph. With that spped they say the impact will be equal to an explosion of 4.5 Tons of TNT.

I say it misses.
