I was getting a resume proffesionally made up for me and was asked if I had any management experience, to which I replied...'Yes, for the past five years I have headed an international organisation, coordinating the activities of individuals in seven differant countries, using the internet as a comunications network.'
They were impressed. When I mentioned that it was nothing really, and that I actually did that kind of thing for a hobby and didn't consider it to be work at all, and therefore they probably shouldn't take it into account, they were utterly stunned :)

Pressed for further information, I spilled the beans about the 'International Organisation' and how it was actually my squad in an online flightsim, and was told that allthough it was probably unwise to use the wording I had, it was valuable experience, and I should definately mention it.....I just laughed and said "You've never played an online flightsim have you?"

If you could make money out of talking bull**** to your mates and online flying, we'd all be rich.

actually, much of business is talking bollocks, and if you've been involved in commanding a scenario, you've had the opportunity to learn a lot about how to manage people and technology to achieve your objectives.
