Girls Shelter
« on: January 12, 2005, 04:45:10 PM »
The other day, I stopped at a girls shelter. I donated $20 and went inside. These poor kids. They're so broke they can't even afford clothes. And the ones that do have clothes, the clothes are so undersized and tattered, that the girls can barely cover themselves up. But they keep their spirits up. I've never seen so many girls in unfortunate circumstances making the best of their time spent at the shelter. They try to have fun there by dancing and laughing with other gratious folks who have donated money.

All in all, these kids need money and help fast - I've never seen such unhumane living.

I'm trying to organize a community effort to donate to these girls.
Through some research, I've found that most cities have these shelters set up. I would suggest that everyone go to one and help these unfortunate women out.

Waffle what part of Texas are you in?
If you are in Dallas area we could get together and do something.

Yeah, Waffle where is that?  I have three females of various ages and I would love to donate money and a watermelon load of lightly worn clothes and shoes to these girls.

Finally!!! Someone else has witnessed the sad plight of these poor but very talented girls. I also try to donate whenever possible.

Now, if my wife could only see it that way.

LOL, Bastard.

I was SO looking forward to a navigable closet and the look on my wifes face when I told her that I had donated all her excess clothes and shoes to a womens shelter.  What could she say|?
