Morpheus, get out of my bed!!!
« Reply #15 on: January 14, 2005, 09:40:30 PM »
Well what the hell, I'll bite.

Pretty close except for the covertable. No one ever owned one in my immediate family. The only classic car is one I own, a 67 mustang coup, not a hotrod, all original though right down to its straight 6. I have another mustang and that just sit in my garage and gets money dumped into it from time to time. (that one is an 89 GT)

House isn't brick, its wood, and we have a large pond that I used to fish in often. The rest is close.

The odd part is, my house is off a main street. But I bet there are alot of people who live off a main road. Its a nice place to live, and there is no crime except for maybe someone running a stop sign. We do live on top of a hill.

My girl would never bring me beer, she would but I wouldnt let her, and two, if she did it would be a light beer and I couldnt drink it. (fan of dark beer myself) I'd rather get it myself. I'm lucky just to have her.

I dont know if i want to tell you what I look like. Just feel weird about that. There was a picture of me floating around here for a while. I hope its gone now. You got the height close tho.

damn wierd.

funny how lot of it wasnt to far off.

the car was a major factor in  the dream, for some reason so was its parking brake.    and the slight hill you live on.

the 'just off main street' bit was because we met you walking down the main street, turned one road and was at the house like 2 mins later maybe. wierd.

maybe it was my girl bringing the beer :) she loves to play hostess when i get mates round. so thats twisted because it was supposed to be your house. but we dream what makes us comfortable mostly, and she makes me very comfortable.

the beer was definitely MGD, strange i remember. i would prefer an ale or a guinness, but im not choosy when it comes to a brew.

sorry for this thread in general but i thought if I emailed you to find out how true it was, you would block me and call me a pervert stalker.....hehe

i prefer the public approach, it prooves you have nothing to be ashamed of to me.

anyhow, thanks for clearing that up. doesnt mean anything at all.

I'll keep on dreaming and working things out, maybe write a paper on dreams.

EDIT: but seriously mate, keep an eye on those brakes. please.

i knew you'd show your mug in this thread, was only a matter of time.
you're welcome to him, just watch out for his car rolling freely down the hill unattended.

ive written some of them down, and have considered selling them to hollywood :D

In a nutshell, lucid dreaming is waking up in your dream... taking control and doing whatever you feel.  Imagine right now, you're dreaming; now start floating away.  That's pretty much it :)

There are many techniques to initiate one.  MILD - mneumonic induced lucid dream = picking some daily object as  'dream symbol.'  Every time you see this object, ask yourself if you're dreaming.  Study the object/person/smell/whatever, become aware of every detail.  Eventually you'll see it in the dream, possibly ask yourself if you're dreaming, then become aware and achieve lucidity.  With your ability to recall many dreams, your chances are much greater.

Another method, WILD - wake induced lucid dream = sleeping for about 6-8 hours, waking up for a half hour, then falling asleep consciously :)  I've only done that once, but it's quite fun :)

I can throw some good links your way if you like.

Hehe, very interesting....

Morpheus, id really keep an eye on that brake.

My mother had a similar ability. Not all dreams came true, not all stuff shed dream about beforehand, but it could be a certain form of 'warning'.
21 is only half the truth.
