I love this game and i HATE this game! Love it because it is fun and hate it because i dont understand it. Lets say hypothetically someone were to spray a spit from nose to tail while flying a spit and being 100 away and the only thing that falls off is a rudder. Then that same plane someone shot up turns around and kills you. Then that plane that kills you ends up being morpheus who has already killed you once that day. So instead of getting your revenge you get killed again because the spit guns didnt kill the plane even though it sprayed it from nose to tail. I'm not complaining this is all hypothetically speaking. I just dont understand.

Why spray nose to tail?

You put x amount of lead on target, do you want x amount of lead to spread out all over or hit all in one place to cause critical damage? ie, the wing root so Morph suddenly find himself flying with only one wing, er, sorry I mean falling with only one wing.

for one, you were probably doing 100mph maybe less. I was at your high 12 and keeping my plane in a stall to stay on top of you and out of your guns. The burst you hit me with before i rolled over on you was all 303's and wasn't concentrated long enough to do any damage. When i came over on you i wasnt any further away than 100yrds. The shot I had to give you was a chance but the only choice i had. And I knew it would be a long shot for you to land a decent hit.

The idea is to keep it close and keep you from getting a good shot or ideally any shot at all for that matter.
